<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing tofu, with which inexpensive liquid tofu is actualized through a simple method by utilizing a general-purpose apparatus, namely tofu liquefaction is actualized and to obtain tofu produced by the method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing liquid tofu comprises a first process S1 for producing nonformulated soybean milk, a second process S2 for feeding the nonformulated soybean milk obtained by the first process S1 into a homogeneous emulsifier 2, applying first pressure P1 (pressure of 50 MPa or above) to the nonformulated soybean milk and producing emulsified soybean milk, a third process 3 for mixing the emulsified soybean milk obtained by the second process S2 with a coagulant with stirring and a fourth process S4 for feeding the emulsified soybean milk mixed with the coagulant obtained by the third process 3 to the homogeneous emulsifier 2, applying second pressure P2 (pressure of 50 MPa or above) to the emulsified soybean milk mixed with the coagulant and producing liquefied tofu. The liquefied tofu is packed into a container with a mouth part.
