<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus carrying out a stable and smooth driving transmission to a rotating member of a process means even when a restriction exists related to an apparatus layout, etc. <P>SOLUTION: A process means 90 for image formation is made into a unit containing a rotating member 9b and is constituted to have a transmitted gear 9e of the rotating member 9b engaged to a transmission gear 26 provided in a driving part 22 of the main body 1a when attached to an image forming apparatus main body 1a. A gear shaft 26a supporting the transmission gear 26 of the main body side is horizontally hung to two pieces of parallel brackets 22b and 22e and one end of the gear shaft 26a is projected outside the bracket 22b, another end part is fixed to the bracket 22e and the transmission gear 26 is supported to the gear shaft 26a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
