<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new use using Terminalia. <P>SOLUTION: This lactic acid dehydrogenase inhibitor is obtained from Terminalia. The processed product obtained from the Terminalia has an excellent lactic acid dehydrogenase inhibiting action, and therefore makes possible to obtain an anti-fatigue effect, a crease-preventing or improving effect by the stimulation of collagen synthesis, a mucous membrane strength-maintaining or improving effect, and a periodontal disease and dental caries-preventing effect.
