<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow smooth slide travel of a floating type caliper for a mounting and suppress squeak noise of brake by restraining the floating type caliper for the mounting as required. <P>SOLUTION: This disc brake device 1 generates braking force by pressing an inner pad 6 and an outer pad 8 on a brake disc 4 by the floating type caliper 2, which is slidably supported on the mounting 20 through a slide pin 22 inserted into a hole part 20a formed in the mounting 20.
