<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly economical communication network for preventing the waste of network resources at the time of performing data communication among many data terminal units through point-to-point type connection set by a data exchanging device. <P>SOLUTION: The data exchanging device 91 is configured to perform the switching setting of each communication connection among data terminal units 11, 21, 31 and 41 for performing data communication with each other by time-division through a point-to-point type communication connection.
