PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dedicated scan utility for performing a variety of settings (MixedMedia) of a page type to scanned image data, to add functions of the MixedMedia to a scan utility for setting only conventional scanning, and to generate a printing job on the basis of designation of the scan and the MixedMedia. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a user interface for scanning the image forming apparatus and designating the page type of the scanned image data, and is provided with: a page designation input means for inputting designated contents with respect to the page kind at the user interface; an external data storage means for fetching the image data stored by the scanned image storage means in an image reader system to store them; and a printing job image generating means for generating the printing job on the basis of the designated contents with respect to the page type inputted by the page designation input means.
