发明名称 METHOD OF MANUFACTURING GLASS PREFORM FOR AIRTIGHT TERMINAL
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an extremely thin sintered glass tablet which is a glass preform for airtight terminals responding to the necessity for micro airtight terminals, and is so extremely thin as to exceed the manufacturing limit of conventional glass-powder press processing. SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a glass preform for airtight terminals is the one wherein a glass powder is subjected to finning processing, and a green sheet is created in a film forming process. Further, an extremely thin type sintered glass tablet is created by punching the green sheet into a predetermined shape in a punching process. The manufacturing method includes a crushing step 1 for crushing a glass material, a heating and dissolving step 2 for changing a binder to a vehicle by adding the binder in a solvent, a kneading step 3 for so mixing the glass powder and the vehicle with each other as to change them to a slurry, a defoaming step 5 for so removing babbles contained in the slurry as to adjust its viscosity, a film forming step 6 for changing the defoamed slurry to a green sheet by a doctor blade method, a punching step 7 for so punching the green sheet into a predetermined shape as to change it to an green-sheet tablet, and a heating step for removing the binder from the green-sheet tablet.
