PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downward facing continuous hole boring machine which is for use in boring a downward facing slot, and can suck and discharge slime that contains muddy cuttings immersed in water, efficiently and in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The downward facing continuous hole boring machine is formed of a guide cell (10), boring rods (12, 14) arranged on the guide cell in a vertically movable manner, boring bits (18, 20) attached to lower edges of the respective boring rods, and a guide rod (22) mounted on the guide cell in parallel with the boring rods and in a vertically movable manner. The boring rods have axially extending feed water passages (12a, 14b) formed therein, and feed water to the boring bits via the feed water passages, respectively. The guide rod has a water sucking passage (22a) formed therein, and has a suction port (22b) at a lower end thereof, that is movable downward from the boring bits, and therefore the suction port can suck slime that contains cuttings generated by boring action.
