PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic fiber cord fabric for reinforcing rubber, having a uniform density, after the cord fabric is heat-treated and drawn, and capable of producing an excellent effect on improvement of uniformity, especially when used for a pneumatic tire, and to provide the pneumatic tire given by using the same. SOLUTION: This synthetic fiber cord fabric for reinforcing the rubber comprises the weft and the warp made of tire cords and is woven by using a loom in which the weft is inserted into the fabric from only one of sides of the fabric, so as to weave the fabric, wherein a warp density of a fabric edge part on the side where the weft is inserted is made to be smaller than a warp density of a fabric edge part on the other side.
