PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endless metallic belt and its manufacturing method capable of significantly improving fatigue strength without largely changing the shape. SOLUTION: This endless metallic belt 6 has a layer 6a to which compression residual stress by shot peening is applied on its outer peripheral face, and further has a layer 6b to which compression residual stress by shot peening is applied on its inner peripheral face. In this method of manufacturing the endless metallic belt 6, shot peening is performed on both of the outer peripheral face 6A and the inner peripheral face 6B of the endless metallic belt 6.
