PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device, capable of surely connecting between components at a low cost and preventing an electro-optical panel and the electronic components from malfunctions and breakdowns due to electrical noises, and to provide an electronic apparatus that uses the electro-optical device. SOLUTION: A first metal frame 7 has conductive parts 49 extended to a second metal frame 8 and having elastic force and the conductive parts 49 are depressed to the inwall of a recessed part 56 for the sidewall of the second metallic frame 8 by their elastic force and brought into contact with the inwall to connect the fist metal frame 7 to the second metallic frame 8, so that even if there is dispersion in the tolerance of components, the conductive parts 49 of the first metal frame 7 are depressed to the second metal frame by their elastic force and the first and second metal frames 7, 8 can be surely connected.
