PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit equipped with exhaust structure realizing the prevention of the leakage of light from a light source and the efficient exhaust of exhaust air with simple constitution. SOLUTION: The light source unit 100 has: the light source 110 including a lamp 112; exhaust fans 122 and 124 arranged on the first side part of the light source 110 and exhausting the exhaust air used to cool the light source; a 1st air guiding body 140 arranged on the air intake side of the exhaust fan; and a 2nd air guiding body 150 arranged on the exhaust side of the exhaust fan. The 1st air guiding body 140 includes 1st louvers 146 arrayed at a 1st angle (for example, 135°to an optical axis I), and the 2nd air guiding body 150 includes 2nd louvers 154 arrayed at a 2nd angle (45°to the optical axis I).
