PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram device, having both fast switching speed of holograms and responding speed with respect to the exiting light from a hologram so as to fast read out each hologram formed in a recording medium. SOLUTION: The hologram device is equipped with a light-emitting section 1 to allow reference light 11 to enter each of a plurality of holograms 30 formed in a planar recording medium 3, and a light-receiving section 2 for receiving the exiting light 31 from the hologram 30, both housed in a chassis 4, where the recording medium 3 and the light-receiving section 2 are laid and fixed so as to face each other in the chassis 4, and the light-emitting section 1 is set movable on a plane in between the recording medium 3 and the light-receiving section 2.
