PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a period of time required for image recording from becoming redundant even when the filter pattern of a color filter is made highly minute, and to speed up the image recording. SOLUTION: This image recording device is equipped with a recording head which is arranged in such a manner that the arranging direction of nozzles may tilt to the carrying direction, a plurality of storage sections which individually store discharge data, and a controller which designates the storage section corresponding to the progressing degree of an image recording from a plurality of the storage sections. Also, the image recording device is equipped with a shift register which stores the discharge data which has been read by a data reading section, and a head driving section which drives the recording head from the discharge data. The head driving section drives the recording head from the stored discharge data when the discharge data regarding one time discharging which has been stored in a plurality of the storage sections and read by the data reading section is stored in the shift register.
