<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive capable of correcting an eccentricity without damaging the disk. <P>SOLUTION: The disk drive 20 of which a recording medium 8 is held, is equipped with a chuck section 100 having 1st piezoelectric elements 80a-80c, the thicknesses of which are optionally adjustable in the radial direction of the recording medium 8. By optionally adjusting thicknesses of the 1st piezoelectric elements 80a-80c, the recording medium 8 can be quietly and horizontally moved to a desired position in the state that the recording medium 8 is held by the 1st piezoelectric elements 80a-80c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
