<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of efficiently recovering/recycling residual toner and also obtaining a high-quality transfer image free from the occurrence of ghost. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with an electrifier 3, an exposure means 4, a 1st means used both for developing/cleaning 6 arranged in a developing means arranging part 5, a transfer roll 8 transferring a toner image to a recording medium conveyed by a conveying belt 7, a bias means 9 applying bias voltage to the residual toner, and a 2nd means used both for developing/cleaning 21 arranged in a cleaning means arranging part 10 in order from an upstream side in the rotating direction P of a photoreceptor drum 2. At least the toner reservoir parts 26 and 29 of the means used both for developing/cleaning 6 and 21 are constituted to be freely attached/detached and arranged interchangeably each other, and then a latent image is developed by the 1st means used both for developing/cleaning 6, and the residual toner is recovered by the 2nd means used both for developing/cleaning 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
