<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce operations of a user and to save a memory area of an image forming apparatus when an electric document partially including a confidential item is accumulated in the memory area. <P>SOLUTION: When a document is accumulated in the image forming apparatus from a computer terminal, a special attribute is added to an arbitrary portion in the document. An authentication code, the special attribute and information indicative of the portion in the document are included in print data. A development means develops the print data to an image constituted of only an additional element of the special attribute and an image constituted of only an element not including the special attribute to accumulate them to the memory area. When the accumulated document is printed, a user is permitted to input the authentication code through an operation section. When it is matched with an authentication code of a registered user, the image of only the element of the special attribute is merged with the image of the element not including the special attribute to be printed. When the input authentication code is not matched with the authentication code of the registered user, the image of only the element not including the special attribute is printed without using the image of the element of the special attribute. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
