<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating liquid of a hard coat layer having high adhesion to an upper layer and good coating properties, a lens using the same, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: Giving attention to that the the characteristics of a surfactant added for the purpose of smooth coating application of the layer as the ground are influential to the contact angle indicating one of the surface characteristics of the layer, a first process of forming an underlayer containing a silicone surfactant having an HLB value of 14 to 17 directly or across another layer on a base, and a second process of forming the upper layer by a coating liquid for the upper layer on the underlayer are provided, so that the hard coat layer having the good coating properties is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
