<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comfortable polyester woven fabric having unconventionally high waterproofness and further unconventionally high stretchability. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester woven fabric is obtained by using an ultrafine fiber yarn having ≥0.01 to ≤1.1 dtex single filament fineness in one of a warp yarn and a weft yarn and using a conjugated fiber multifilament yarn prepared by laminating a polyester polymer composed of a polyester in which at least one component consists essentially of polytrimethylene terephthalate in the fiber longitudinal direction into a side-by-side type or an eccentric core-sheath type in the other yarn. The polyester woven fabric has ≥1,500 to ≤2,500 sum total of cover factor of the finish of the warp yarn and weft yarn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
