PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient resource recovery method for a plastic waste material capable of obtaining a plastic molded body having a high-grade characteristic and reducing the plastic waste material which is thermally recycled by carrying out material recycling from the plastic waste material in which the plastic waste material is a main raw material, or the like.

SOLUTION: The resource recovery method for the plastic waste material includes a process for plasma cleaning the plastic waste material. As a cleaning means which employs a deposit of the plastic waste material and/or a surface decorating film provided on the plastic waste material as an object to be treated, a resource recovery apparatus for the plastic waste material includes a plasma generator generating a radical having a fixed concentration.
