PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a navigation device for a vehicle to present data for determination of whether it is appropriate or not to pass a nearest stopover installation, the navigation device informing of stopover installations on a guidance route up to a destination. SOLUTION: After calculating the guidance route, this navigation device for a vehicle receives the input of the type of desired stopover installations (110) to determine, as stopover installations, installations belonging to the received type of desired stopover installations and existing on the guidance route anterior to a present position or on the periphery thereof (120 to 150). Further, the degree of separation from the present position of an installation nearest to the present position among the stopover installations and a positional relation between the installation and the guidance route are displayed (170) when the guidance time comes for the stopover installations. Further, the degree of separation from the present position of a stopover installation second-nearest to the present position next to the nearest stopover installation, and a positional relation between the installation and the guidance route are displayed (180).
