PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make once-established connection hardly disconnected, in communication using other mobile terminals as repeater stations. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal mounted with a directional antenna estimates a direction in which a radio wave arrives from a nearby terminal, and can turn the directivity of the antenna toward a desired direction. For example, since a primary relay terminal 64 to which a mobile phone 65 out of a communication area requests a relay is not located in communication areas of any base stations, the other mobile phone is searched and a secondary relay terminal 63 is found out. In such a case, since the secondary relay terminal 63 is located within the communication area 62 of a certain base station 61, the secondary relay terminal 63 does not search other mobile phones any more but establishes connection with the base station 61 and the mobile phone 65 out of the communication area can start communication.
