PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm device capable of preventing an arm from being damaged due to contact with a torsion spring. SOLUTION: In the arm device, the base end of an arm 4 holding a lamp is rotatably journaled to an arm support part 34, a free arm part 73 of the torsion spring 7 attached to the arm support part 34 is engaged with the arm 4, and the arm 4 is energized in a standing-up direction. A slider 8 sliding along the axial direction of the arm 4 is mounted in a position in the arm 4 where the free arm part 73 of the torsion spring 7 is engaged, and the free arm part 73 of the torsion spring 7 is engaged with the slider 8.
