PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip control device for a torque converter for restraining a clutch capacitor from becoming excessive in an open-loop control by taking fluctuations of input-torque into consideration. SOLUTION: In the slip control device, an open-loop control means detects rotational speed of the turbine in the torque converter, on the basis of operation conditions of a vehicle, a command slip rotational-speed, i.e. a command value of difference between the engine speed and the turbine rotational speed (S100). The command slip rotational-speed is converted to a slip-torque equivalent in the torque converter (S103). From an engine torque estimate (S104) which is input in the torque converter, a slide torque equivalent is deducted to obtain a lock-up-clutch engagement capacity (S105). On the basis of the lock-up-clutch engagement capacity, the engagement condition of the lock-up clutch is controlled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
