PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet for an electronic device capable of further enhancement of an operation efficiency and a production efficiency than so far. SOLUTION: Inner wall faces 19, 19 facing each other are zoned in at least a pair of wall bodies 18a, 18b. Protrusion pieces 25, 27 extending in parallel along a straight line from an edge to an edge are formed in the individual wall bodies 18a, 18b. First to fourth smooth faces 32 to 35 are prescribed in the individual protrusion pieces 25, 27 by an extruding process. If a plate member such as a printed board 26 is inserted into between the protrusion pieces 25, 27 concurrently in the two wall bodies 18a, 18b, the plate member is supported by a cabinet member. The plate member can be simply pulled into or from the cabinet member. The enhancements of the operation efficiency are materialized as well as the production efficiency.
