PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a system configuration by reducing the number of cables when connecting at least two storages to a data processor, and to reduce costs sharply. SOLUTION: The storage 4 is connected to the data processor 2 that is a host controller by a serial ATA standard in series via a channel 6. The storage 4 is connected to the storage 5 via a channel 6a by the serial ATA standard similarly. In the data processor 2 and the storage 4, there are LBA analysis sections 9, 14 having an intermediation function to the storage 5, when the data processor 2 accesses the storage 5 each. The LBA analysis sections 9, 14 analyze LBAs outputted from the data processor 2, and output the LBA to the corresponding storage for enabling access. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
