Nuts from a rotary hopper 1 driven by motor 2 pass along portion 3A of channel 3 and at 3B are engaged by magnetic wheel 5 which is driven by motor 6 to be raised up portion 3C so as to drop down portion 3D and to be fed to the point of use 17. The height of nuts in portion 3D is controlled by level detectors 18, 19 which control motors 2 and 6. Wheel 5 (Fig. 3).-Permanent magnets 10 are immersed in non-magnetic material between ferromagnetic discs 9 so as to engage the nuts in channel 3B. |
