PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet and a video equipment in which harsh noise generation is suppressed by eliminating a gap between an image display face and the cabinet and which is easy for recycling. SOLUTION: The cabinet 1 includes a bezel 10 for holding a front panel 50 of an image display device 5. Between the bezel 10 and the image display face 5a, a packing 8 having elasticity is attached in a compressed state. As adhesion between the bezel 10 and the packing 8, and adhesion between the packing and the image display face 5a are improved, invasion into the cabinet 1 of a foreign substance is prevented and the harsh noise generation is suppressed. Moreover, when the video equipment is decomposed for recycling, as the packing 8 is easily detached from the bezel 10, decomposing work becomes easy. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
