PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sugarless soft candy consisting mainly of sugar alcohol, and improved in its physical properties such as reduction of time required for solidification when prepared, decrease in adhesion of the candy to the device in a production process, reduction in stickiness of the candy to the teeth when eaten, and decrease in dripping of soft candy: and to provide a method for producing the sugarless soft candy. SOLUTION: The sugarless soft candy consists mainly of mixture of noncrystalline sugar alcohol and crystalline sugar alcohol, and contains 0.001-5.000 wt.% of tartarate in solid basis.
