Burner consists of primary air and powder piping (20) with nozzle (2) at forward end, ring-shaped secondary air piping (19) and nozzle (4), through which some of the combustion air flows, a conical firing block embodied as a semi-combustor and a ring-shaped tertiary nozzle ring (6) with several single nozzles. Between the primary air and powder nozzle and secondary nozzle is a barrier surface (3) which is operated using blocking air (12).
