<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which outputs an image for which an additional image is added to an original image only in outputting or copying an original or printing data to which the additional image such as a top secret mark is added in a period requiring the addition of the additional image. <P>SOLUTION: The original for which the additional image such as a watermark and an information mark indicating its period of validity are composited in the original image is read in a scanner part 11, the information mark is image-analyzed and the period of validity is recognized. The read image is outputted as it is when the present time is within the period of validity, and the additional image and the information mark are removed from the read image and only the original image is outputted after the lapse of the period of validity. Also, in the case that period-of-validity information is included in the printing data, a specified additional image is added to the original image indicated by the printing data and printed when the present time is within the period of validity, and only the original image is printed after the lapse of the period of validity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
