<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print on a tape with the same format as that of a tape having an identical title printed in the past. <P>SOLUTION: The tape printer for printing a print content specified by a user on a tape comprises an input section for receiving input of a print content, a format setting section for receiving format setting of print content and applying the set format to the print content, a print executing section for printing the print content set with a format on a tape, and a format storage section for storing the format set for the print content being printed at the print executing section in correspondence with the print content. When the input section receives input of the print content, the format setting section reads out the format from the format storage section by using the inputted print content as a search key and displays the format thus read out while applying to the inputted print content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
