PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce decline in acceleration feeling at the time of forced return from fuel cut, in an internal combustion engine recirculating exhaust gas during execution of the fuel cut at the time of deceleration, in regard to a control device for the internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: In the control device for the internal combustion engine, when depressing of an accelerator pedal is detected during execution of fuel cut at the time of deceleration, it is determined that a forced return condition from the fuel cut is achieved (A).
