PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively absorb self-excitation vibration of a hard disk driving mechanism, etc. SOLUTION: A HDD (hard disk drive) 21 as an information storage device has the hard disk driving mechanism 24 having a recording medium 22 and a recording and reproducing means 23 of information to the recording medium 22, a first case 25 which stores the hard disk driving mechanism 24, and a second case 26 which stores the first case 25, and an insulator 1A is interposed between the first case 25 and the second case 26.
