PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic fiber cord fabric for reinforcing rubber, having a uniform density, after the cord fabric is heat-treated and drawn, and capable of producing an excellent effect on improvement of uniformity, especially when used for a pneumatic tire, and to provide the pneumatic tire given by using the same. SOLUTION: This synthetic fiber cord fabric for reinforcing the rubber is given by weaving the weft and the warp made of tire cords into the cord fabric, wherein warp densities of both edge parts in the transverse direction of the fabric are made to be smaller than a warp density of a central part.
