PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro-forming device and a micro-forming method capable of shortening the machining time when machining irregularities on an inner surface of a cylindrical work, a method for machining an inner surface of an engine cylinder by applying the device and the method, and the engine cylinder machined by the machining method of the inner surface of the engine cylinder. SOLUTION: A cylindrical elastic body 5 with a projecting part 9 having higher hardness than that of a work 1 formed at least on a part of an outer surface is inserted inside the cylindrical work 1. A forming member 3 is inserted inside the elastic body 5. When the forming member 3 is moved so as to press an inner surface of the elastic body 5, the projecting part 9 is pressed against the inner surface of the work 1, and irregularities are worked on the inner surface of the work 1.
