PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-water separator which is small, but can perform oil-water separation at high speed. SOLUTION: Air bubbles are fed into a liquid to be treated, stored in a treatment tank 11 to raise oil contained in the liquid to be treated, together with the air bubbles, which separates the liquid into water and oil. Air is mixed into the liquid to be treated, pumped out from the bottom of the treatment tank 11, by an air mixer 38. The pressure of the liquid to be treated is increased by a circulating pump 31, and the liquid to be treated is injected from a nozzle 33 installed in the lower part of the treatment tank 11 and returned to the treatment tank 11 to circulate the liquid to be treated. The liquid to be treated, in an untreated state is supplied from a circulation piping system of the liquid to be treated or the bottom of the treatment tank 11. The air mixer 38 shears air with a high-speed flow generated when a part of the pressurized liquid to be treated is returned to the low pressure part of circulation piping to convert the air into small air bubbles, which are fed to the circulating pump 31.
