PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe legless chair capable of surely locking a first leg part and a second leg part to respective locking parts in being used and preventing the locking parts from being unexpectedly disengaged despite the intention of a user. SOLUTION: This folding legless chair is provided with an X-type link rotationally pivoting an intermediate part, which is formed by crossing the first leg part and the second leg part, to a part between a seat part receiving the buttocks and a receiving plate part grounded on a floor surface, respective one parts of the X-type link is rotationally pivoted to the back face part of the seat part and the front face part of the receiving plate part out of four parts of X-type link received to the back face part of the seat part and the front face part of the receiving plate, and the other free end parts are detachably received by receiving parts provided in the back face part of the seat part and the front face part of the receiving plate part respectively. This folding legless chair is constituted to be folded in the direction of approaching the seat part to the receiving plate part by disengaging the free end parts from the receiving parts, and is so constituted that the free end parts of the X-type link are retained to the receiving parts by the pull-out prevention means in a pull-out prevented state and, when an external force is applied thereto against the pull-out prevention means, the free end parts of the X-type link can be disengaged from the receiving parts.
