PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument for an endoscope capable of preventing deviation of a coil wire even if a strong tensile force is applied to an operation wire with its curved steeply in the flexible treatment instrument for the endoscope using the coil as an outer sheath tube. SOLUTION: This treatment instrument for the endoscope is provided with a distal end side coil 22, a hand side coil 24 disposed at the proximal end of the distal end side coil and having the inside diameter smaller than that of the distal end side coil, the operation wire 30 extractably/retractably disposed inside the distal end side coil and the hand side coil, and a treatment appliance disposed at the distal end of the operation wire and operated by the operation wire.
