PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure for an extension pipe of a vacuum cleaner which can prevent a connection part between the extension pipe and a bent pipe from being played or damaged. SOLUTION: A hand pipe 2 is formed of an inner pipe 21 externally fitted to the top end part of the extension pipe 1 and a hand pipe body 22 housing the inner pipe 21. The inner pipe 21 has a cylindrical fitting part 21a externally fitted to the extension pipe 1 and a curved part 21b which is connected with the fitting part 21a and curved. The hand pipe body 22 is turnably connected with one end of a hose connection pipe 3 communicating with the inner pipe 21, and has a handle 23 which is branched from a part housing the inner pipe 21 and extending nearly in parallel to the axis of the hose connection pipe 3. The inner pipe 21 is formed of resin harder than resin forming the hand pipe body 22. Since the tip part of the extension pipe 1 is externally fitted by the fitting part 21a of the inner pipe and the inner pipe 21 is housed in the hand pipe body 22, the extension pipe 1 is connected firmly with the hand pipe 2.
