A transport process for baskets through a multi-station throughput goods washer comprises transport rails (5,6) with catches (10) driven in the transporting direction (1.1) by a rotating axle (3). A swiveling movement (11) of catches is caused by a forwards (VH) and back wards (RH) lift of the rail around an axle parallel to the transport direction. An independent claim is also included for a machine for the above process.
