<p>It is possible to appropriately control a format of a mark sheet used for specifying an image file of the photograph to be printed and the number of copies to be printed. In an image processing device, image recording means specifies image data to be recorded/outputted according to the information described in the mark sheet read from the image read means. Here, the image processing device analyzes the image data to be printed out so as to detect the number of persons as objects in the image data, prints a mark sheet containing a thumbnail image of the image and a mark column for specifying the number of copies corresponding to the number of persons obtained by detection of the number of faces in the image, causes image read means to read the mark sheet, and prints the number of copies of the image corresponding to the number of persons. The detection of the number of persons is executed as an idle task of the image processing device and the information on the number of persons detected as objects is stored as header information in the image file.</p> |
