ANTENNA SYSTEM FOR RADIO UNIT AND PORTABLE RADIO UNIT WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a common antenna element to accomplish a multiband antenna in simple configuration.

SOLUTION: An antenna system for a radio unit is provided with: a conductor ground plate 1 provided in a radio unit casing and having a ground potential; a first radio circuit 2 corresponding to a system of a first frequency band and a second radio circuit 3 corresponding to a system of a second frequency band lower than the first frequency band, the first and second radio circuits being provided within the conductor ground plate 1; a first feeder 4 that is an inner conductor of a coaxial transmission line including an outer conductor 5 disposed along the conductor ground plate 1; an antenna element 6 connected to each of the first feeder 4 and the outer conductor 5 and disposed along the conductor ground plate 1; and a second feeder 7 connecting the second radio circuit 3 and the outer conductor 5, wherein the first feeder 4 feeds high frequency power inputted from the first radio circuit 2 and the second feeder 8 feeds high frequency power inputted from the second radio circuit 3.
