<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition, which can give a favorable printing quality in plain paper and special medium, especially is excellent in scratch resistance at the recording to a glossy medium, and an ink set. <P>SOLUTION: In the ink composition employed in a recording device to execute a recording by an image recording method, which has a process for giving one kind of the ink compositions to a medium to be recorded and a process for giving a reaction solution, which coheres ink through the reaction with one kind of the ink compositions, and the selection of the need or no need of the process for giving the reaction solution depends on the kind of medium to be recorded, a modified pigment, on the surface of which a water-soluble resin A is chemically bonded, and a water-soluble resin B are included. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
