<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize carrying of a recording medium, and to prevent an endless belt from being shifted by informing the timing for a roller cleaning. <P>SOLUTION: In the image recording device, the endless belt which carries the recording medium, a recording head which records images by discharging an ink to the recording medium on the endless belt, and a carrying device having a plurality of rollers which carries the recording medium by rotating the endless belt, are provided. In the image recording device, a static electricity generating section which variably generates a static electricity attracting force on the recording medium on the endless belt, a roller cleaning section which cleans at least one roller among a plurality of rollers, an informing section which informs a cleaning demand, and a control section which controls the recording head, the carrying device, the static electricity generating section, and the informing section, are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
