<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell which can improve output characteristics by preventing a carbon dioxide etc. produced as by-products from interfering with the continuous diffusion supply of fuel. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel electrode 12 and an oxygen electrode 13 are arranged so as to face each other via an electrolyte film 11. The angle that the perpendicular line perpendicular to the surface of the fuel electrode 12 makes with a gravity direction is within the range of not lower than 30 to 90°C. When a fuel chamber 14 adjacent to the fuel electrode 12 is located on the gravity direction side with respect to the fuel electrode 12, high output characteristics are obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
