<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector which allows the use of small type electrical optical modulators and has a structure that is easy to reduce costs. <P>SOLUTION: The projector includes a light source device 110, a first lens array 120, a second lens array 130, a superposing optical system 150, a color separation light guide optical system 200, the three electrical optical modulators 400R, 400G and 400B, and a projecting optical system 600. In the projector, the superposing optical system 150 has: a first superposing lens 160 disposed between the second lens array 130 and the color separation light guide optical system 200; and a first convex lens 172 and a second convex lens 174, composing a second superposing lens 170, which are disposed in the color separation light guide optical system 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
