<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heartbeat measuring instrument, wherein water proof property is easily and reliably checked not only before delivering a product but in usage by a user. <P>SOLUTION: The heartbeat measuring instrument includes an opaque and hard plastic-made case 1; a rear lid 2; a circuit board 6 stored in a storage chamber formed from the case 1 and the rear lid 2; different electronic parts 7 attached to the circuit board 6; and an antenna 8. A through-hole 14 is provided at the center part of the opaque case 1. A transparent member 3 is fixed to the outer opening of the through hole 14 in a liquid-tight state. Then dew condensation generated on the inner surface of the transparent member 3 is observed so as to check the waterproof property of the heartbeat measuring instrument. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
