PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of enhancing the taking-out property of a knife blade from a tire while ensuring the excellent suppression effect of block collapse. SOLUTION: A siping 10 juxtaposed to a block 7 has a zigzag-shaped opening part 11 which is changed in a zigzag shape across the reference line X on a tread surface S. In a wall surface 14 of the siping, one of a wall surface ridge line Y1 passing through apexes of the zigzag and extending in the depth direction and a wall surface ridge line Y2 passing through bottom points of valleys of the zigzag and extending in the depth direction is the zigzag-shaped ridge line 15 changing its position on one side and the other side of the longitudinal direction Fn of the reference line X toward the siping bottom, and the distance L on the plane parallel to the tread surface S between the other adjacent wall surface ridge lines is increased/decreased in the depth direction Ff.
