PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for accurately and easily managing control information. SOLUTION: After a power is supplied, when the first reading instruction is identified from a user, prescan is started, and the end point of the platen glass of an original stand is detected, and the detected end point is used as the reading start position of an original and the reference point of reading processing, and the following reading operation is performed. Thus, it is possible to absorb the mounting error or performance error each time components configuring the device are fixed, and to perform highly precise reading processing, and to manage the control information of reading processing with coordinate information with the reference point as a start point.
